I absolutely loved reading your article. For one, I am a sucker for strong, authentic writing. And two, I agree with everything being said. The hypocrisy festering beneath our brand-new, highly expensive, limited edition, hogwash materials is laughable. I'm first generation with a single mother living in a one-bedroom garage. The only way I can see myself moving out and living on my own is if I get a second job as an Uber driver and go back to school. And, even then... it would be a gamble. All I really want is a place to call home.
