I'd say try to hold off as long as you can! I never really had issues drinking, actually didn't care for it too much. Until the pandemic happened and like everyone else around the world, I got realllly into it. So, I take 30-90 day breaks now. It's better for your body and your mindset in the long run. And kudos for traveling the world alone, wish I was that brave.
