I’m surprised this is a question. I’ve known guys to date Asian women from other countries (meeting online and whatnot) and the common question they are asked are: “Is she a mail-order bride?”
I know that’s an offensive assumption but ironically for 1 of the men, she was. None of them were asked if she was rich.
Now when I dated a Japanese man, I received this question all of the time. It’s strange. If it’s a woman, she’s ordered, if it’s a man he’s rich? Wellll okiedokie then.
