I’m very new to Medium and had my first rejection. I thought I was on a roll going from Short-B-Read to The Ascent to Hello, Love and then Slackjaw goes (in what I imagine to be Mick Jaggers accent), “Not funny!” My story about going to war with lice & the school system being in cahoots with them is not everybody’s cup of tea. So I did something I never thought I could do…. I went to grab a smoothie with some friends and then moved on with my life…. As we all should.
