Though I enjoyed your article... I disagree. I don't believe this was an attack on queer creators. Whether or not the person was queer, I guarantee Rowling would have taken legal action against someone who posted a meme like that. You are correct in that it amounts to a vanity thing. But, I don't see this specific incident you're referring to as an attack on queer creators specifically. I just see it as an attack on creators.
